Can I get one of these please???

In case you don't know, my husband Todd is a computer geek. And let's be honest, I love that about him. He knows how to work most technical gadgets and can do lots of neat stuff, plus he is fun to laugh at sometimes as well. Part of his computer-geek personality allows him to surf the internet for hours a day "reading", and in his adventures he usually sends me a couple of websites a day of cool things. Yesterday he sent me to a blog that talked about hydrofloors. Totally cool..and I want it in my next house.

The concept is a movable floor. It can be flush and act as a patio, dance floor, etc. Or (and this is the totally cool part) it can move down, fill with water and become a POOL. Yea, I know.
And you can fill it up as much as you want, wading pool, kiddie pool, a swimming pool. So that's what I want to build in my next house. What do you think?? :)

Weekend excitements

Saturday Todd and I ventured out to Amazement Square for the first time with Kara. Because it was family night, there were tons of kids and families there, but Kara ignored everyone as usual and seemed to have a great time. Her favorite part I have to say were legos - which we have at home, and a sign at the front entrance that she was able to manipulate by slamming her tiny body into. Pretty cute actually. Todd and I wanted to get something to eat on our way out and after not finding anything we could both agree was kid friendly or that we wanted, we opted for pizza at home.

On Sunday we traveled again on our great house hunting adventure and went back to a house we had seen before that we really liked. The second time was even better. I am happy to say, this might be the one! More info to come!
Kara also got her first haircut....by Haircuts by Johanna :) She did a great job in the kitchen at Mom's house. She was supercute and now has some supercute bangs too!

Who is gonna follow MY blog??

Well, I'm not sure who is really going to even take a look at this blog, but I decided I needed to be a hip Momma and try this thing out. I read blogs everyday, in fact a lot of the blogs I read were once blogs, but now have turned into a money making, advice giving, great place for ideas websites such as simplemom.
So this will be a place I can talk about my day, vent about whatever I see fit and hopefully have a couple of people that care to look. We will see! Have fun with me!
